What you need to provide to open an export procedure
Start your export customs operations with a few essential documents to build a complete and correct procedure.
Generally, the following are sufficient:
- Sales invoice to the foreign customer, with a clear description of the goods, value, currencies and complete details of buyer and seller
- Packing list with number of packages, gross and net weights and type of packaging
- Transport document related to the shipment, such as CMR, consignment note or documentation prepared by the freight forwarder
- Information on the destination and type of shipment, such as country of arrival and whether transport is by road, sea or air
- Any specific requests from the foreign customer, for example the need for a document of origin such as EUR 1, ATR or EUR MED to reduce duties in the destination country
You provide the documents and we verify the data, check that invoice, description and values are consistent, and immediately inform you if any additional information is required.
Once everything is in order, we prepare the export customs declaration (EX) and set up the procedure so that it complies with customs regulations and your company’s tax requirements.
